College Application Tutoring helps students navigate and conquer the looming “mountain” of applying to college. From developing the personal statement to deciding which university is a good fit, our instructors help students prioritize which tasks to tackle first and how to go about executing them.

Our approach helps students gain confidence and take ownership of the college application process. In addition, our instructor supports parents by shedding light on the process’s many moving parts.

The Basic Program

5, 80-minute private sessions that are primarily dedicated to completing the Personal Essay. A digital college application tutoring packet provided by the studio consists of:

Mapping out (My List of Universities); top choice, mid-tier, safety schools
Completing a (My College Deadlines) graphic organizer
Observing (Two Sample Personal Essays); analyzing what worked
Choosing an Essay Prompt and Orientation to Common App Website
Brainstorming and Drafting (My Essay Outline)
Writing (My Personal Essay)

The Full Program

9, 80-minute private sessions that include everything in the Basic Program plus the following additional items added to the digital college application tutoring packet:

Completing (My Counselor Brag Sheet) and Uploading to Naviance
Completing (My Teacher 1 & My Teacher 2 Brag Sheets) and Uploading to Naviance
Completing My Teacher 1 & My Teacher 2 email requests of Recommendations
Completing (My Student Resume)

The Master Program

14, 80-minute private sessions that include everything in the Full Program plus the following additional items added to the digital college application tutoring packet:

Completing (My Short Essay Questions) for each specific university
Supporting and Checking over Student Common Application form before submitting
Fine-tuning and revisiting Personal Essay

Add-Ons

Live Single Sessions

80-minute private sessions in which the student and instructor review and fine-tune work that has already been mostly completed by the student.

$70 each

Static Single Sessions

80-minute private sessions in which the instructor reviews the student’s work on their own and returns a commented copy to the student within 48 hours.
